There's always something to celebrate and April is full of fantastic reasons! First up is Assistant Principal Appreciation Week. Our faculty went all out to celebrate and show appreciation for our Assistant Principal, Julie Atkin. She's fabulous and works tirelessly to help our students and support our faculty! Thank you, Mrs. Atkin! 
This was also the week we got to show our appreciation for the Educational Assistants who are the backbone and life-support of our school. They do so much to support our students and help our teachers - we couldn't survive without them! Thank you to Angie Bell, Teresa Coleman, Martha Gerardo, Mary Driscol-Jones, and Melissa Kline! This week also included National School Librarian Day. Since the SWA librarian may be the one who is writing this, we'll just say that Mrs. Messerly is the best librarian at Smyrna West! #madeyouread
