Several Smyrna Rotarians volunteered to host our students on the morning of Feb. 23. Pairs/groups of selected students spent the morning learning about their host's education, career, community involvement, etc. Even if the students had no prior interest in the specific career, they all walked away learning valuable information to help them with future success. One student was heard saying, "I was sent exactly where I was supposed to be today!" That's pretty cool! One of the participants, Moniah G., said she was surprised that opportunities like Job Shadowing were available at SWA. She was also surprised to learn that she was one of the first teens ever to tour Taylor Farms. All of the students gathered at the Smyrna Event Center for lunch and to experience the Smyrna Rotary meeting with their hosts.
