Cindy Freer Conley, School Counselor and Ron Whitmore, Graduation Coach, are available to be a help and support to our students and families.  Please contact them if you have any needs. That includes all of the traditional School Counselor and Graduation Coach roles like helping access resources for education and college and career planning, but also includes helping access resources for food, emotional support and safety.  If you wish to talk with either of them please send an email to Dr. Cindy Freer Conley at conleyc@rcschools.net or to

The School Counseling office at Smyrna West is staffed by a full time School Counselor, Cindy Freer Conley, PhD, BCBA-D and a full time Graduation Coach, Ronald Whitmore, EdS 
 
 
Dr. Cindy Freer Conley is in her 7th year as the School Counselor at Smyrna West.  She has been an alternative school counselor for 16 years; prior to that she worked in private practice in the mental health field in Kentucky.   She works with the remanding schools to insure students have the best academic fit possible in the alternative school as the students continue to work towards the goal of graduation.  
 
 
Dr.  Conley and Mr. Whitmore are available to meet with parents and students.   Students can request a meeting by contacting their teacher; parents can call, drop by or email to set up a meeting.  Email addresses for both the School Counselor and Graduation Coach are listed on the Staff Page.
