Eleven select students spent more than two weeks practicing to perfect their read-aloud skills. They created props, worked with partners, and experimented with different character voices to make each children’s book exciting and engaging.
On Friday, September 11, they spent the morning at David Youree Elementary, reading to students from kindergarten through fifth grade. They did an incredible job!
We are so proud of these students for stepping outside their comfort zones, trying something a little scary, and bringing joy to others along the way.
Great job!
